Rayher 3D pumpkin silicone mould – for concrete, Raysin, casting resin and wax

The Rayher 3D pumpkin silicone mould (art. no. 36162000) makes a three-dimensional pumpkin with a lid, Ø 10 cm and 8.5 cm high. You can cast craft concrete, jewellery concrete, Raysin casting powder or casting resin in it; according to Rayher, wax works too.

The silicone is extremely flexible and keeps its shape. To demould, stretch the mould slightly and the hardened pumpkin will come away without effort. Afterwards, clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid; it can be used again. With a temperature range of -40 to +240 °C, it withstands both frost and heat.

Uses for the pumpkin

Rayher suggests candles cast in wax, a storage pot and autumn table decorations. Concrete or Raysin give sturdy decorative pumpkins that you can paint afterwards as you like.

How much casting compound do you need?

Rayher gives the following material requirements for one pumpkin:

• Jewellery concrete or Creative Concrete 5in1: approx. 480 g
• Raysin 200: approx. 400 g

Casting the pumpkin

Place the mould on a level surface so that the top comes out flat. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on the pack and pour it in slowly to reduce air bubbles. Let it harden completely before you stretch the mould and remove the pumpkin.
