Rayher Clovis shells – natural shells for scattering, gluing on and casting in resin

The Rayher Clovis shells (art. no. 8508500) are small shells for summer and maritime decorations. You can scatter them on the table, fill a glass or bowl with them, or glue them onto cards, pots and vases. The shells measure approx. 1.9 to 4.5 cm and come in a net bag.

The range of sizes is practical: small shells fill gaps, larger ones add accents. As shells are a natural product, shape and markings vary from piece to piece.

Decorating ideas

The shells can be used in several ways:

• As scatter pieces beside a table runner
• Mixed with sand in a lantern

Gluing on and casting in resin

To glue them on, pick suitable shells from the net bag and fix them with craft glue or hot glue. According to Rayher, you can also cast the shells in casting resin. Let them dry thoroughly first so that no moisture gets into the resin.
