BeaverCraft TR8X – leather case for 8 carving tools

The BeaverCraft TR8X is a case made of genuine leather in which you keep carving knives, chisels and other small tools in one place. With 8+2 pockets, every tool has its own place, and the blades do not lie loose against one another.

The leather is 1.6 mm thick and stitched with strong thread. The case measures 530 × 250 mm and is supplied empty, so you put together your own tool set.

Which tool fits which pocket?

The pockets come in different sizes: pocket 1 is 55 mm, pockets 2 to 8 are 50 mm each, pocket 9 is 40 mm and pocket 10 is only 25 mm. The two narrow pockets are intended for small accessories such as a pencil or polish, the others for carving knives and chisels. Measure the handles of your tools before buying so that they fit the intended pocket.

Looking after the blades in the case

Always put blades away clean and dry. Moisture stored in the leather can otherwise cause rust spots on the steel.
