Heart Pegboards, Set of 2 – Two Sizes for Fuse Bead Designs

The Efco Nabbi heart pegboard is the base on which you arrange heart designs made from 5 mm fuse beads. The set contains two white heart-shaped boards made of sturdy plastic: one approx. 16 cm and one approx. 8 cm. Standard 5 mm fuse beads fit, for example from Nabbi, Hama and Pyssla.

The boards can be used many times. The large heart board suits designs such as pictures or coasters, while the small one is suitable for pendants or magnets. This leaves you free to choose the size of your design without needing a second pack.

Making your fuse bead heart

Place the beads on the board following your template and make sure they sit fully down on the pegs everywhere. Then lay ironing paper or baking paper over the top and move the iron, without steam, in circles over the design until the beads have fused together. The iron gets hot during this. Let the design cool completely before you lift it off the board. If you then turn it over and iron the back briefly with paper, the beads will also fuse evenly on that side.

Which board for which design?

The large board gives you room for a filled heart with a pattern or lettering. The small board is quicker to fill and suits simple, single-colour designs.
