Revell Advent Calendar Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupé 1:24 Model Kit

Revell Advent Calendar Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupé – 24 Days of Model Building until Christmas

The Revell Advent calendar (art. no. 01047) is a 1:24 scale model kit: in 24 build steps, one per day, you build a plastic Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupé. The kit is difficulty level 3 and consists of 109 parts. Everything you need for building is included: glue (12.5 g), brush, side cutters, sanding file and modelling knife.

The 911 Carrera is one of the best-known sports cars, and its design can still be seen in newer models today. The finished model is 17.9 cm long, 7.9 cm wide and 5.5 cm high. You add details to the model with the sticker sheet, and you can paint it if you wish with the five Aqua Color paints.

How to build it

The building instructions take you through all 24 steps. If you build one step a day, the model will be finished in time for Christmas. You can also adapt the pace and spread the build steps to suit your time.

• Cut the parts from the sprue with the side cutters, leaving a small stub on the part.
• Trim the cut marks with the sanding file or the modelling knife so that the parts fit together cleanly.
• Dry-fit each part before gluing and apply the glue sparingly so that nothing oozes out.
• The paints are optional: it is best to paint small parts while they are still on the sprue.

Who is the kit suitable for?

At level 3, the kit is not a beginner model, but it is also manageable for modellers with little experience if you take your time. As tools, glue and paints are included in the calendar, you do not need to buy anything extra. If you want to carry on building later, you can add accessories such as specialist glue or finer brushes.
