Staedtler FIMO Snow Globe Oval 70 x 52 mm

Staedtler FIMO Oval Snow Globe – make your own and give it as a gift

With the Staedtler FIMO oval snow globe (art. no. 8629 40) you make your own snow globe: you model a figure or scene yourself and place it inside the globe. The cardboard box contains an oval snow globe measuring 70 x 52 mm, together with detailed instructions. The globe consists of a clear dome with a base and stopper.

It can be used with all oven-hardening FIMO modelling clays, so you are free to choose any colours and types. As a piece you have designed yourself, it is good for collecting and giving as a gift.

How to proceed

Model your figure or motif from oven-hardening FIMO clay and harden it in the oven according to the instructions on the packaging of your clay. Then leave the piece to cool completely before you continue working on it. Before hardening, hold the clear dome over your motif to check that it fits safely underneath. The enclosed instructions explain how to assemble the snow globe. If you need more space for a larger motif, Staedtler also makes a larger, round FIMO snow globe measuring 86 x 75 mm.
