Rico Design rectangular wooden stamp handle – handle for hand-carved stamps

The Rico Design rectangular wooden stamp handle is the handle for stamps you carve yourself from stamp carving rubber. The stamping area measures 45 × 80 mm and the handle is 80 mm high. A self-adhesive foam sheet is included. It goes between the wood and the rubber and, according to Rico Design, gives a better stamp quality.

The carving rubber is not included and is ordered separately. It is easy to work with carving tools, so you can stamp your own motifs, patterns or lettering.

Turning carving rubber into a stamp

The stamp handle is intended for motifs up to 45 × 80 mm. Cut the rubber to the size of the stamping area or choose a motif that fits on it.

• Transfer the motif onto the carving rubber. Draw letters and numbers as a mirror image, otherwise they will stamp back to front.
• Carve out the motif with the carving tool. Everything that is left standing will print later.
• Stick the foam sheet onto the wooden surface and attach the carved rubber to it.
• Ink the stamp on the ink pad and press it evenly onto paper or card.
