Pipe Cleaners Chenille Stems 14 mm, Multicoloured, 50 cm, 100 pcs

Pipe Cleaners 14 mm – Extra Thick Chenille Stems for Crafting

These pipe cleaners are bendy chenille stems: a wire core covered in soft synthetic fabric. The pack contains 100 stems in mixed colours, each approx. 50 cm long with a diameter of 14 mm. You can shape them into animals, figures, flowers or seasonal decorations.

At 14 mm diameter, the stems are extra thick and bulky, so even larger projects look sturdy and plush. For finer work, the range is also available in 9 mm diameter.

Working with chenille stems

You can simply bend the wire with your hands. If you wind a stem around a pencil or finger, you get spirals, for example for antennae or curly tails. You join two stems by twisting the ends together. Finally, bend the wire ends inwards so that nothing pokes out.

Thick or thin?

The 14 mm stems are suitable for bodies, arms, legs and large flowers. For small details and delicate shapes, the slimmer 9 mm version is better suited.
