Rayher paper-covered floral wire – 50 cm long, Ø 1.0 mm, for arrangements and wreaths

Rayher floral wire is an iron wire with a paper wrapping for arrangements, wreaths and flower bouquets. At 50 cm long and approx. 1.0 mm in diameter, you can use it to support blooms, extend stems or bind twigs together. The paper wrapping looks natural and is barely noticeable among flowers and twigs. Choose your colour from the options.

There are 20 pieces in the bag. That lets you wire a whole series of flowers without having to buy more in between.

Using the wire

For an arrangement, lay the wire against a flower stem and wind it tightly around. This extends and supports short or soft stems. For wreath binding, fix twigs or flowers in bunches to the wreath base with the wire. Shorten the wire with side cutters and bend the ends inwards so you do not prick yourself on the tips.

Which diameter should you choose?

At approx. 1.0 mm, the wire is sturdy enough for flowers and smaller twigs and can still be bent easily by hand. Rayher also offers the paper-covered floral wire in 0.55 mm and 1.6 mm. The thinner wire suits fine, light work, the thicker one heavier stems.
