Artemio wooden magic wand to paint, pine, 28 cm

Artemio wooden magic wand – untreated, ready to paint and decorate

The Artemio magic wand is an untreated pine wooden blank for crafting and painting, 28 cm long. You can decorate it with your own ideas, for example for costumes, role play, decoration or as a handmade gift.

As the wood is left natural, you decide on the colour and look entirely yourself: from a single-colour finish to patterns, or with beads or ribbons stuck on.

Painting the wooden wand

Pine wood left raw is absorbent and the grain can lift. If needed, sand the surface smooth with fine sandpaper along the grain and wipe off the dust. Acrylic paints adhere well to wood. Light or bright colours cover better if you apply a white primer first. Let each coat dry completely before applying the next so that nothing smudges.

Decorating ideas

Wood glue or craft glue will hold beads, ribbons or glitter stones in place. If you want to protect the painted finish, apply a clear varnish at the end.
