Rayher Hanging Wooden Egg Shapes, 56 x 80 mm, Pack of 12

Rayher Wooden Hanging Egg Shapes – 12 Wooden Eggs with Hemp Cord

The Rayher wooden hanging egg shapes are 12 flat wooden eggs for making hanging decorations, for example for an Easter tree, a window or gifts. Each egg has a hole for hanging, and 3 m of hemp cord for the hangers is included.

At 5.6 × 8 cm, the eggs are large enough for motifs and patterns, yet still light as hanging decorations. The thickness of approx. 2–3 mm gives a flat, slim shape.

Decorating the wooden eggs

You can paint the eggs, cover them with paper or napkins, or write on them. Do not apply paint too wet on such thin wood, otherwise the disc may warp. Keep the hole clear and thread the cord through only after drying. With 12 eggs and 3 m of cord, you have 25 cm per hanger on paper; you will need some of that for the loop and knot.
