Wire lantern handle, 40 cm – a sturdy base for homemade lanterns
The pre-formed wire lantern handle is the carrying handle for homemade lanterns: it connects the lantern to the lantern stick. The handle is 40 cm long and made of wire (metal). You receive 1 piece.
The handle is already pre-formed and has a curved tip that stops the lantern from slipping. You do not need to bend it yourself and can concentrate fully on designing the lantern, whether for a lantern parade, as a garden light or for a craft project with children.
Fitting the handle
Push the lantern handle into the top of your lantern and bend the ends over so that it sits firmly. If you bend the ends over with flat-nose pliers, the result is neat and the handle holds securely. Before the parade, check that the handle sits firmly in the lantern and does not work loose. The curved tip stops the lantern from slipping on the stick.
