Schmincke acrylic varnish is a final varnish for acrylic painting. It is matt, colourless, non-yellowing, ageing-resistant and quick-drying. Thinner: white spirit (50019)

Application notes

• Shake before use.
• The product is ready to use, but can be thinned if required with, for example, white spirit (50019).
• Apply only to a completely dry painted surface – approx. 3 days for thinly applied acrylic paints, approx. 1 to 2 weeks for thickly applied ones – working quickly with a suitable varnish brush at room temperature.
• Clean tools with white spirit (50019) or brush cleaner (50051 / 50052) straight after use.
• The dried varnish layer remains soluble in white spirit (50019) or varnish remover (50060) for a long time.
• The usual thickness of the varnish layer has no significant effect on the UV resistance of the paint layer. We therefore strongly recommend using high-quality acrylic paints that are as lightfast as possible from the outset.
• Close the container immediately after use.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Individual preliminary tests are recommended.
• Ingredients: acrylic resin, matting agent, white spirit.

Danger: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. May cause respiratory irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe vapour. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
