Clover Fine Patchwork Pins – extra-fine glass head pins

Clover fine patchwork pins (art. no. 2507) are extra-fine glass head pins for holding fine fabrics in place, for example in patchwork, quilting and appliqué. At only 0.4 mm in diameter and 36 mm in length, they slide easily through the fabric. According to Clover, the glass heads are iron-safe, so pinned layers can stay in place while you press.

The 100 pins come in a resealable polypropylene case. This keeps them together and lets you store them safely.

What the fine pins are suited to

The slim pin is suited to precise pinning in fine patchwork and appliqué work, for example with cotton fabrics, silk or thin appliqué pieces. The glass heads are easy to grip and stay in place when pressing.

When to choose a thicker pin

For thick layers of fabric or wadding, thicker pins are more sensible, as a 0.4 mm pin can bend more easily there. Choose the fine pins when accuracy and gentle pinning matter.
