Prym silver marking pencil – washable marking on light fabrics

The Prym silver marking pencil (art. no. 611606) transfers templates, quilting patterns and sewing patterns onto fabric. The silver mark stands out clearly on lighter fabrics. Once you no longer need it, you simply wash it out with water.

You can sharpen the pencil with any standard pencil sharpener, so you can mark precisely even after extended use.

Transferring a pattern

Lay the template or pattern piece on the fabric and trace the outline with light pressure. This keeps the line fine and easy to see. If the point becomes blunt, sharpen it so the marking stays accurate. For dark fabrics you will need a lighter marking, as silver is intended for light fabrics. Test on a scrap of fabric first to see how well the marking washes out of your material.
