Prym White Chalk Powder – Refill for the Hem Marker

Prym chalk powder for hem markers (art. no. 611886) is fine, powdered tailor's chalk in white, used as a refill for the Prym hem marker. The 50 g bottle tops up your supply when you use the hem marker to mark fabric, for example for an even hemline.

The powder can be applied to the fabric and removed again. However, white chalk is hard to see on light fabrics; it shows up best on medium and dark colours.

Using the chalk powder

Refill the container of your hem marker with the powder following the instructions for your hem marker, taking care not to spill any. Before you mark the hem of a finished garment, it is best to test the marking on a scrap of fabric. That way you can see whether the white chalk is visible on your fabric and can be removed again. Keep the bottle tightly closed so that the fine powder does not leak out.
