The Re Project 103 in Walnut is a case made from 100 % leather for storing short double-pointed needles in an organised, protected way. It is designed for double-pointed needles 20 cm long. The needle sizes from 2 to 8 mm are clearly embossed in the leather, so you can find the right size quickly without rummaging through project bags or drawers.

At 22 × 18 × 3 cm, the case stays compact enough for your project bag. The metal zip closes it completely, so your needles stay safe on the way to your knitting group.

Which needles fit the case?

The case is made for short double-pointed needles 20 cm long, the kind you use for socks, sleeves, hats or other small-circumference projects. If you have several sizes on the go at once, you can keep them all in one fixed place. Longer double-pointed needles do not fit, so measure them first if in doubt.

Leather and care

For the Project 103, Re:Designed uses Urban Leather Quality: a milled cowhide that is dyed before the surface treatment and then lightly waxed. This gives a soft, smooth surface, and the natural structure remains visible. Grain and colour effect can therefore vary slightly from case to case, and each piece is one of a kind. Walnut is a warm brown that goes well with natural yarn colours. For care, Re:Designed recommends using the Re:Designed leather balm regularly, which is intended to increase durability and make the leather more dirt- and water-repellent.
