Prym Navy Blue Bias Binding – Cotton Tape for Binding Curves

Prym bias binding in 100 % cotton, navy blue, neatly binds necklines, armholes and edges on clothing as well as table and bed linen. It is cut on the bias, so it stretches and follows curves without rippling. The tape is 40 mm wide and pre-folded to 20 mm, and the length is 3 m. It suits cotton fabrics.

How to bind an edge

The fold lines are already pressed. Open the tape out on one side, place it right sides together along the fabric edge and stitch it in the fold. Then turn it over the edge to the inside and topstitch close to the edge. For a neckline, first shape the tape gently into the curve with the iron so that it lies flat without puckering.

How much do you need?

Measure the length of the edge you want to bind and add about 2 cm at each end for turning under. A 3 m length is therefore enough for several smaller necklines or armholes.
