Prym iron-on denim repair patch, dark blue – for mending jeans

The Prym denim repair fabric in dark blue (art. no. 929550) is used to mend worn areas on jeans and clothing made from heavy cotton fabrics. The adhesive coating covers the whole surface; you iron it on and it holds the patch firmly to the fabric. The card holds one piece measuring 12 × 45 cm. You can cut several patches from it in whatever size you need.

Prym offers the denim repair fabric in several colours. The dark blue shade matches dark denim clothing. The repair fabric is made of cotton and is washable up to 40 °C.

How to apply the patch

Cut the patch slightly larger than the damaged area and round off the corners so they do not lift as easily when worn and washed. Place the patch on the inside of the garment with the adhesive side down over the damaged area and iron it on until the coating adheres across the whole surface. Knees and elbows are put under particular strain. Sew the patch on at a few points there as well, so that it lasts.
