The Städter lucky clover embossing cookie cutter cuts 7 cm clover leaf shapes from dough, fondant or marzipan. It is made of stainless steel and has a pre-embossed pattern that gives the shape a texture on the surface. The motif suits good-luck biscuits, for example for New Year's Eve, birthdays or celebrations.

You can also use the cutter for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo. Once you have used it for modelling material, do not use it for food again.

Cutting out the clover leaf

Roll out the dough evenly on a floured surface. Place the cutter straight down and press it firmly so that the embossing is imprinted cleanly in the dough. Lift the cutter off and carefully release the shape with a knife or spatula. If the dough sticks in the embossed edges, dip the cutter briefly in flour or icing sugar from time to time.

What it is suited to

The embossing stays most clearly visible when the dough barely spreads during baking; firm shortcrust dough works better than a dough that rises a lot. With fondant and marzipan, you press the pattern straight into the rolled-out paste, for example for cake decorations or toppers for chocolates. Salt dough or Fimo can be used to make small pendants and decorative pieces.
