Städter embossed egg cookie cutter, 10 cm – eggs for Easter baking, fondant and craft clay

The Städter embossed egg cookie cutter is made of stainless steel and cuts a 10 cm egg shape from dough, fondant or marzipan. Thanks to the pre-embossed design, the shape comes with a surface pattern straight away. It suits Easter baking and bakes for celebrations. You can also use the cutter for crafting and modelling with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO.

At 10 cm, the egg is large enough for individual pieces that are meant to show off the design, for example as a centrepiece on the biscuit plate or as a salt dough pendant.

Cutting tips

Roll the dough out evenly and dust the cutter lightly with flour, or with icing sugar for fondant or marzipan. Press the cutter straight down into the mixture with even pressure so that the embossing is the same depth all the way round. Then lift the egg off carefully. With dough, the embossing stays most visible when the dough is firm and well chilled.

Also for crafting

With modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO, cut the egg out of the rolled-out material. This gives you eggs of identical size, for example for Easter decorations or pendants. Clean the cutter thoroughly after use and dry it before putting it away.
