Städter Embossed Egg Cookie Cutter 5.5 cm – Stainless Steel Cutter with Pre-Embossing

The Städter embossed egg cookie cutter is made of stainless steel and cuts egg-shaped motifs 5.5 cm in size from dough, fondant or marzipan. The pre-embossing gives the cut-out shape a texture, so you don't need to add any extra detail. It suits Easter biscuits, but also celebrations and other occasions during the year.

The cutter is also suitable for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO. Städter describes its stainless steel cutters in general as rustproof, food-safe and dishwasher safe.

Using the embossed cookie cutter

Roll out the dough evenly and lightly dust the work surface and cutter with flour, or with icing sugar for fondant and marzipan. Hold the cutter upright and press it firmly through the dough so that the embossing shows. Carefully lift off the cut-out shape. Dough that was chilled before cutting usually keeps its outline better when baked.

Also for crafting

With salt dough, modelling clay or FIMO you can cut out evenly shaped eggs, for example for pendants or Easter decorations. If you use the cutter for this, do not use it for food afterwards. The 10 cm version is much larger; the 5.5 cm size suits small biscuits and pendants.
