HobbyFun Silicone House Mould – Casting Mould for Plaster, Resin and Soap

The HobbyFun silicone house mould is a casting mould made from flexible silicone, for casting small houses in plaster, concrete, casting resin or soap. The mould measures approx. 11.5 × 3.5 × 2.5 cm and holds approx. 130 g of casting compound. That helps you plan quantities if you want to cast several houses at once.

The soft silicone gives way when you demould, so even fine details usually come out without breaking. The mould is reusable. If you would prefer to cast a smaller house, the same mould is also available in approx. 8.5 × 2.5 × 1.5 cm.

Casting a house

Place the mould on a level surface so the compound sits evenly. Pour in the mixed compound slowly and tap the mould lightly so that air bubbles rise to the top. Let the compound harden completely before demoulding. Then gently stretch the silicone back from the edges and push the house out. Follow the instructions for your casting compound, especially for the mixing ratio and hardening time.

Cleaning and note on use

After demoulding, clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid if needed. Once a mould has been used for plaster, casting resin or soap, do not use it for food again.
