Rayher silicone mould Mini Houses – 15 small houses for concrete, Raysin and wax

The Rayher Mini Houses silicone mould has 15 individual house-shaped cavities. You can use it to cast small houses for decorations, pendants or display pieces, for example from creative concrete, jewellery concrete, Raysin casting powder, casting resin or wax.

According to Rayher, the silicone is extremely flexible and keeps its shape. This makes it easy to release even fine castings from the mould once they have hardened, and the mould can be reused. It withstands temperatures from -40 °C to +240 °C.

Working with the mould

Each house cavity can be filled to a different height: shallow for delicate pendants, higher for decorative display pieces. Mix the casting compound according to the manufacturer's instructions, fill it evenly into the cavities and leave it to harden completely. Then release the houses carefully by bending the soft silicone outwards at the edges, so that narrow parts do not break off. After demoulding, clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid if needed.

How much casting compound do you need?

For filling all the cavities to their full depth, Rayher gives approximately the following quantities. For shallower castings you will need correspondingly less.

• Jewellery concrete or creative concrete 5in1: approx. 230 g
• Raysin 200 or 250: approx. 200 g

Not suitable for food. Once you have used the mould for casting compounds, do not use it for food again.
