Rayher metal lampshade frame – conical base for your own lamps

The Rayher metal lampshade frame (art. no. 23102576) is a conical, black-coated frame without a cover. You decorate it yourself, for example with yarn or natural materials such as seagrass, reed grass, corn husks or raffia, or leave it as an open frame. The bulb stays hidden.

The frame is 24 cm high, 15 cm wide at the bottom and 7 cm wide at the top. It is supplied without a lamp holder or bulb.

Turning the frame into a lamp

First attach the lamp holder to the shade ring, which has a diameter of 42 mm. Rayher offers the E27 pendant lamp holders art. no. 23099576 and 23100576 and the metal table lamp base art. no. 23101576 for this. The lamp holder starts 4 cm above the bottom edge, so the bulb sits inside the frame. Then wrap the struts with yarn or glue on natural materials. Connection to the mains must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Note on heat

Yarn and natural materials are flammable. Choose a bulb that gives off little heat, such as an LED, and do not let the materials touch the bulb directly.
