Proxxon Elastic Polishers – Fine Polishing of Precious Metals and Moulds

The Proxxon elastic polishers (art. no. 28295) are Micromot accessories for polishing and finishing gold, white gold and silver, as well as in tool and mould making. The polishing head is made of silicon carbide in an elastic bond, not rubber. The set contains 2 pieces.

The polishers are cylindrical, Ø 14 mm and 12 mm high. The shank is Ø 2.35 mm. Before buying, check that your handpiece accepts this shank diameter.

Polishing technique

Secure your workpiece before you start and wear safety goggles. Work with moderate pressure and guide the polisher over the surface in even, slightly overlapping passes. If you hold it in one spot for too long or press too hard, hollows or heat can easily develop on the workpiece. Observe Proxxon's specifications for speed for both the tool and the machine.
