Coloured matchstick-style craft sticks – 500 g for models and decorations

These coloured matchstick-style craft sticks are a craft material for models, miniatures and decorative work. Each stick is approx. 2 mm thick and approx. 50 mm long, and the pack contains approx. 500 g.

As the sticks are thin and all the same length, you can use them to build fences, rafts, huts, frames or mosaics. The sticks are already coloured, so you do not need to paint your piece first.

Working with the sticks

Individual sticks have only a small gluing surface. Lay them overlapping, crossed or side by side wherever possible, as the construction will hold better. Hot glue sets quickly and suits frameworks and frames. With wood glue or all-purpose glue, you need to allow time for drying. Hold the pieces in place with clips or tape while it dries. If you need shorter pieces, carefully cut the sticks with a sharp craft knife on a cutting mat or with side cutters.

Coloured or natural?

The same range includes natural craft sticks, approx. Ø 2 mm and approx. 48 mm long, in a 1,000 g pack. Choose the coloured version if you want the colour to stay visible, and the natural one if you need larger quantities or want to decorate the sticks yourself later.
