The Da Vinci COLINEO retouching brush series 5526 was developed for precise retouching and fine touch-ups. Like all brushes in the COLINEO series, it is made from an innovative blend of straight and wavy synthetic fibres of different lengths. This combination gives the brush an exceptionally high colour pick-up, a precise point and excellent elasticity – qualities that come remarkably close to natural Kolinsky sable hair, but are 100 % vegan.

The series 5526 is characterised by its extremely short hair, which gives maximum control when working on small, precise areas. It suits restoration, illustration, miniature painting and technical corrections. The fibres are held in a sturdy silver ferrule and attached to an ergonomic, moisture-resistant handle made of Hi-tech Multicolor laminated wood – durable and comfortable to hold.
