Faber-Castell Black Edition Colouring Pencils, 72 in Pencil Roll

Faber-Castell Black Edition – 72 colouring pencils in a pencil roll

The Faber-Castell Black Edition is a set of 72 triangular colouring pencils in a black pencil roll. It includes 6 neon and 6 metallic colours. The SuperSoft lead lays down colour even on dark or coloured paper, and the pencils have black wood to match.

The roll is a black fabric case. You can store the pencils in it and take them with you for drawing on the move.

What the SuperSoft lead offers

The SuperSoft lead lays down colour extra softly. According to Faber-Castell, you can use it to create effects even on dark or coloured paper. Even so, test the colours first on an offcut of your paper, as paper colour and texture change the result. The lead is break-resistant thanks to special bonding, which protects it from snapping inside the wood, for example if a pencil is dropped.

Colour selection and handling

72 colours cover many shades and gradations, so you can create transitions and shading without mixing on a palette. Use the 6 neon colours and 6 metallic colours as accents, for example for highlights, outlines or backgrounds on dark paper. The triangular barrel sits ergonomically in the hand, the grip is comfortable and the pencils do not roll off the table.
