Prym glass-head pins – coloured glass heads for pinning fabric

Prym glass-head pins (art. no. 029217) are dressmaking pins for holding fabric pieces in place before sewing. The round head is made of heat-resistant glass and comes in assorted colours, so you can spot the pins quickly on the fabric.

According to Prym, the smooth shaft made of hardened steel has a balanced spring hardness and does not bend or break. The fine point passes easily through all fabrics and is gentle on the fibres.

Pinning fabric securely

Insert the pins at right angles to the seam line, with the heads pointing towards the edge of the fabric. This makes them easy to remove as you sew. The coloured glass heads stay clearly visible, so you won't leave a pin behind in your work. Do not sew over the pins, as this could damage your sewing machine needle.
