Huasco Sock Twilight Paints from Araucania is a hand-dyed sock yarn for socks, shawls and lightweight knitted items. It is made of 75% superwash wool and 25% polyamide. According to the manufacturer, the name refers to the colours of the sky at dusk. Choose your colour from the options.

The superwash finish makes the yarn machine washable, and the polyamide content adds durability, for example at the heel and toe. According to the manufacturer, the wool is mulesing-free. What to use the yarn for

The manufacturer gives socks and lightweight clothing as the intended use. With needle size 2.25–3.25 mm you can knit socks in the usual weight, and shawls, scarves and fine accessories work well too. For larger projects, or for two matching socks, it is therefore best to knit alternately from two balls so that there are no harsh transitions.

Tension and care
