Städter Mandelbär Embossed Bear Cookie Cutter – Stainless Steel with Pre-Embossing

You can use the Städter Mandelbär embossed cookie cutter to cut bears from dough, fondant or marzipan. It is made of stainless steel, measures 6 cm and has a pre-embossed pattern that presses a texture into the dough as you cut. The small size suits biscuits, cake decorations or little gifts.

The cutter is also suitable for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO.

Cutting tips

Roll the dough out evenly and chill it well before cutting so the edges stay sharp. Dip the cutter briefly in flour first, or in icing sugar for fondant. Press it straight down with even pressure so the pre-embossing shows up cleanly. Lift the cutter straight up and release the shape carefully with a spatula. For biscuits, place the bears on the baking tray with a little space between them, as the dough spreads during baking.

Crafting and modelling

With salt dough, modelling clay or FIMO, you can cut bears of identical size for pendants, gift decorations or mobiles. Once you have used a cutter for modelling material, do not use it for food again.
