Städter Star Cookie Cutter 4 cm – Rustproof Stainless Steel for Dough, Fondant and Marzipan

With the Städter 5-point star cookie cutter (art. no. 050150) in stainless steel, you can cut stars from biscuit dough, fondant or marzipan. At 4 cm, it makes small stars for Christmas baking, cake decorations or table decorations. According to Städter, the stainless steel is rustproof, and the cutter is food-safe and dishwasher safe.

The cutter can also be used for crafting: you can cut out modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo with it.

Cutting cleanly

Roll the dough out to an even thickness so that all the stars bake through evenly. If the dough is sticky, dip the cutter briefly in flour first; for fondant and marzipan, lightly dust the work surface and the cutter with icing sugar. Press the cutter straight down without twisting it, then carefully release the star. This keeps the outline sharp.

Crafting and modelling

With the 4 cm cutter you can cut small stars from modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo, for example for pendants or gift decorations. Once you have used the cutter for modelling material, do not use it for food again.
