The Städter 5-point star cookie cutter in stainless steel cuts five-pointed stars 5 cm across from dough, fondant or marzipan. You can also use it for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

Cutting clean stars

Roll the dough out evenly and chill it briefly before cutting, so the points stay sharp. Dip the cutter in flour now and then so the dough does not stick in the points. Press straight down without twisting, and place the stars close together to leave less leftover dough. For fondant and marzipan, a little icing sugar or cornflour on the work surface helps.

For crafting and modelling

With the 5 cm cutter you can cut stars from salt dough, modelling clay or Fimo for pendants and decorations. Once you have used a cutter with modelling material, do not use it for food again.
