Städter Snowflake Cookie Cutter – with Cut-Outs for Dough, Fondant and Marzipan

The snowflake cookie cutter with cut-outs from Städter (art. no. 175204) is made of stainless steel and cuts crystals from dough, fondant or marzipan. The diameter is 8 cm. The inner cut-outs give the cut shapes a three-dimensional effect. This makes the ice crystal look more delicate than a plain cutter, and you need no extra decoration for winter and Christmas biscuits.

The cutter is also suitable for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO. You can make pendants or decorations with a crystal pattern.

Cutting out

Roll out the dough evenly and dust the cutter lightly with flour so that nothing sticks. Press it straight down and carefully release the cut shape. With very soft dough or marzipan, it helps to chill the dough briefly beforehand so that the fine cut-outs stay clean. The lower edge is sharp, so do not reach inside when washing up. Wash the cutter after use and dry it straight away. If you have used it with modelling clay or FIMO, do not use it for food afterwards.
