Lanaquarelle watercolour paper from Hahnemühle is designed for demanding artists. Made from 100 % cotton and produced in the traditional way on a cylinder mould, it has a very pleasant feel under the brush.

The surface sizing controls how the paper takes up colour and allows both fine glazes and lively wet-on-wet techniques. The acid-free paper also has good ageing resistance and keeps its colours over the long term.

At 300 g/m², the paper stays stable and keeps its shape even with plenty of water, which suits watercolour work as well as varied mixed-media projects.

Three surfaces

– Cold Pressed (matt): light texture for versatile use and smooth colour gradients
– Hot Pressed (smooth): very fine surface for precise details and illustrations
– Rough: pronounced texture for expressive effects and lively results
