Dress it up Nativity – 6 Nativity Buttons with Shank for Patchwork and Decor

The Dress it up Nativity buttons are six plastic novelty buttons shaped like nativity figures. You can use them for Christmas patchwork, quilts, sewing projects and seasonal decorations.

The set contains each motif once: Mary, Joseph with a shepherd's crook, baby Jesus in the manger, a praying angel, a sheep and a donkey. This lets you create a small nativity scene on fabric or decor.

Using the nativity buttons

The buttons have a shank on the back. Sew them on by hand with needle and thread, for example onto quilt blocks, wall hangings, Christmas stockings or fabric Christmas decorations. At approx. 13 to 25 mm, the figures are small, so you can also place them among appliqués or embroidery.

• Lay the figures out on the fabric before sewing them on until the nativity scene looks right.
• Sew them on with strong thread, passing it through the shank several times so they sit securely.
• Use them as decoration in places that are not subject to much wear.
