30 × 45 cm Cutting Mat – self-healing mat for cutting and crafting

This 30 × 45 cm (300 × 450 mm) cutting mat is a craft mat for all work with a cutter, scalpel or craft knife. It protects your table top from scratches, cuts and glue residue. The material is self-healing: light cuts close up again, so the surface stays usable for a long time.

The surface is large enough for an A3 sheet (297 × 420 mm) with a little margin to spare. You can cut paper, card, foil and fabric to size on it.

Working on the mat

Lay the mat flat on a level table and place the material to be cut on top. Guide the cutter along a ruler and make two or three light passes rather than one with heavy pressure. The ruler keeps the line straight and protects your fingers. A sharp blade cuts more cleanly and is less likely to slip, so change it in good time.

Which size to choose

At 30 × 45 cm, the mat offers room for most craft formats up to A3. For smaller or larger projects, further sizes are available in this range.
