Angora's Finest from Lotus Yarns comes exclusively from certified farms, which guarantee that only combed-out hair is used. The hair is combed gently about three times a year – the coat is neither shorn nor plucked. This keeps the quality of the yarn high and safeguards animal welfare.

To keep the fine angora hairs stable, the strand is spun around a nylon core, so that only the soft angora touches the skin. The result is a yarn with a very fluffy halo, excellent heat insulation and natural breathability: angora can absorb and release up to 60% of its own weight in moisture.

Tip: Stick to the recommended needle size – knitting too tightly can encourage felting, while knitting too loosely reduces how well the fibres hold together.
