Creative Make It Blümchen – carry-along yarn with mini sequin flowers
Creative Make It Blümchen from Rico Design is a sparkly carry-along yarn that adds little floral accents to your knitting and crochet projects. The mini polyester sequin flowers are worked into a carrier thread of 100% lyocell. Choose your colour from the options.
You simply hold the yarn together with your main yarn. Hats, scarves, jumpers or accessories get a subtle sparkle without you having to change the pattern. With approx. 375 m on 25 g, you have plenty of thread to carry along over many rows.
Working with the carry-along yarn
Lay the flower thread alongside your main yarn and knit or crochet both together as if they were a single strand. Needle size and tension depend on your pattern and the main yarn. As the lace-weight carry-along yarn is quite fine, the main yarn determines the thickness of the fabric. A small tension swatch will show you beforehand how densely the sequins appear in the stitch pattern.
Care
The yarn is intended for hand washing only. For items combined with a main yarn, also follow its care instructions and wash according to the stricter one.
