URSUS Princess lantern craft kit – make a lantern with instructions

The URSUS Princess lantern craft kit (art. no. 18700021) contains all the materials you need to make a round princess lantern. You get a round die-cut lantern piece, Ø 21.8 cm, various papers, a candle holder and a carrying handle. The templates for the individual paper pieces are on the pattern sheet, and the instructions explain step by step how to trace them, cut them out and stick them on.

According to the manufacturer, the finished lantern is 21.8 cm wide, 21 cm high and 10.3 cm deep. As the kit includes all the papers, you don't need to gather any materials separately.

Making the lantern

Trace the shapes from the pattern sheet onto the matching papers, cut them out and stick them onto the die-cut lantern piece. The instructions explain the pieces in order, so there is no guesswork about what goes where. When working with tracing paper, apply the glue sparingly so that no glue marks show through. Finally, fit the candle holder and the handle.
