URSUS Unicorn Lantern Craft Kit – everything for a round lantern

The URSUS Unicorn Lantern Craft Kit (art. no. 18700003) contains the materials to make a round lantern with a unicorn design. The base is a pre-cut lantern blank, Ø 21.8 cm. You transfer the shapes of the individual motif pieces onto the papers using the template sheet, cut them out and stick them onto the blank. The unicorn's tail sparkles thanks to the glitter paper.

The detailed instructions explain step by step which piece is made from which paper. The kit suits you if you would like to complete a manageable project for lantern season with scissors and glue, without having to gather paper and card beforehand.

Making the lantern

The kit is die-cut, but you cut out the motif pieces yourself. Place the templates from the sheet onto the relevant paper, trace the outlines and cut them out carefully. Then stick the pieces onto the lantern blank one by one. Apply the glue sparingly to the thin tracing paper so that it does not wrinkle. Finally, insert the candle holder and lantern handle as shown in the instructions.

What's in the kit

You get tracing paper for the glowing areas, coloured card in two sizes for the motif pieces and glitter paper for the sparkling tail. The glitter paper is a single sheet measuring 16.5 × 23 cm, so save it for the places where the glitter effect shows most.
