URSUS Tiger Lantern Craft Kit, Round Ø 21.8 cm

URSUS Tiger Lantern Craft Kit – everything you need for a paper lantern

With the URSUS Tiger Lantern Craft Kit, you make a round lantern with a tiger design from paper and card. The kit contains everything needed for the lantern shown: a die-cut lantern with Ø 21.8 cm, tracing paper, coloured card, glitter paper, candle holder, carrying handle and a pattern sheet with instructions.

The instructions explain step by step how to prepare the paper pieces. You do not need to draw your own designs, as the shapes are already printed on the pattern sheet.

Making the tiger lantern

Use the pattern sheet to transfer the shapes of the individual parts onto the different types of paper, cut them out and glue them onto the lantern blank. The instructions show you the order and position of the parts. Glue is not included in the kit.

• Transfer the shapes from the pattern sheet onto coloured card, glitter paper and tracing paper
• Cut out the pieces neatly
• Glue the pieces onto the lantern blank following the instructions
• Attach the candle holder and carrying handle

Gluing tips

Apply the glue thinly, especially on tracing paper: too much glue makes the paper wrinkle and may show through when the lantern is lit. It saves time if you cut out and sort all the pieces before you start gluing.
