Our 1 mm thick copper sheets are a good base for creative projects, repairs and technical applications. The cut pieces are flat, cleanly cut and easy to work further, from embossing and chasing to soldering.

– Properties: highly conductive, solderable, easy to shape, develops an attractive patina
– Working: sawing, cutting, drilling, chasing, soldering; deburr the edges afterwards

– Note: edges can be sharp, so please wear hand protection

Uses and details

Copper at 1 mm offers a good balance of stability and workability: strong enough for small brackets, front panels or decorative parts, yet still easy to cut and chase. For clean results we recommend a hacksaw or tin snips (fine teeth), HSS drill bits with light feed pressure for drilling, and soft or hard soldering for joining, depending on the project. The surface is raw/bare and develops a protective patina with use. If you want to keep the shine, seal it with clear lacquer or wax after polishing. The four squares/rectangles (100×100, 120×120, 100×150, 150×150 mm) cover typical sizes for hobby and workshop use and can easily be cut down further if needed.
