If a colour is temporarily unavailable, we replace it with the closest possible Stroke & Coat shade. The set always contains 12 different colours. The actual selection may therefore differ from the picture or colour list.
Mayco Stroke & Coat sampler set 3 – 12 glazes to try out
The Mayco Stroke & Coat sampler set 3 contains 12 different glazes in 59 ml bottles. It lets you get to know the Mayco Stroke & Coat range without buying large containers straight away. The glazes are highly opaque and fire to a glossy finish, so you do not need an additional clear glaze. They suit fine detail as well as covering larger areas on ceramics.
The set covers a broad spectrum of colours and suits patterns, colour tests and your own designs. If you particularly like a shade, you can also find individual Stroke & Coat colours in larger 236 ml bottles.

Application and firing
Apply the glazes with a brush to bisque-fired ceramics. Work in several coats and let each coat dry thoroughly before applying the next. This gives an even, opaque colour. The firing range runs from cone 06 to cone 10, covering low temperatures for earthenware as well as stoneware firings. The colours shown in the pictures refer to a firing at 1050 °C. At higher temperatures the colours change.
Making colour tests
With 59 ml of each colour, you can test every shade on test tiles first. Note down the colour code, number of coats and firing temperature so that you can repeat the result deliberately later.
