Working with the drawing pen

Dip the tip into the ink and wipe off excess ink on the rim of the pot. Light pressure produces fine lines, and more pressure widens the stroke, as far as the flexibility of the nib allows. Smooth paper works well, because the fine tip does not catch on it. After writing, clean the pen with water and dry it so that no ink dries on.
