Prym sewing gauge – flexible measuring tool for the sewing machine

The Prym sewing gauge (art. no. 610730) is a flexible plastic measuring tool for measuring and marking when sewing. It measures 23 × 4.5 cm and has a 21 cm centimetre scale printed on both sides. You can use it right at the sewing machine.

The gauge is light and sturdy. Use the stitch length check to test your stitches; the marking guide for 90° angles helps with right-angled marks. The notches let you mark points and lines accurately.

Using the gauge

With the scale you measure hem widths, seam allowances and spacing for buttonholes or pleats without reaching for the tape measure. The notches let you transfer these points straight onto the fabric with a pen or chalk. Because the gauge is flexible, you can also hold it against slightly curved fabric edges.
