The sew-all thread is made of 100% polyester. According to Gütermann, you can use it for machine and hand sewing on all fabrics, woven materials and many other materials. The metallic thread adds sparkling accents.

Using the threads

Use the sew-all thread for joining seams and backstitch seams, as well as for decorative stitches and seams, by machine or by hand. The metallic thread is intended for sparkling decorative stitches and decorative topstitching. According to Gütermann, you use it as the needle thread and combine it with sew-all thread as the bobbin thread. Sew a test piece on a scrap of fabric first and check how the stitch looks and whether the thread tension is right.
