Efco straw splitter 3-way + 2-way – splitting straws lengthways

The Efco straw splitter 3-way + 2-way is a hand tool for splitting straws, for example for straw stars and other straw crafts. You pull the straw through the hole provided, and the built-in blade splits it lengthways as it passes. The tool offers 3-way and 2-way divisions, so you get several strips from one straw.

The number of strips you choose determines the width: the fewer the divisions, the wider each strip remains.

How to split a straw

Hold the straw straight and insert it into the hole from one end. Then pull it through the tool steadily and without jerking, so that the strips come out clean and of equal width.

• Keep your fingers away from the blade when pulling the straw through
• It is best to leave out straws with a kink or a split, as they split unevenly
• After use, put the tool away out of the reach of children
