Efco wire mesh 13 x 13 mm – a framework for shaping and reinforcing

The Efco wire mesh is a galvanised, silver-grey wire mesh with a 13 x 13 mm mesh size. You can use it as a shapeable framework for model making, floristry, figures and decorations. The sheet measures 50 x 100 cm (0.50 m²), so you can also cut larger shapes from a single piece.

The wire is 0.65 mm thick: sturdy enough to hold a shape, yet still easy to bend by hand. The even mesh size gives plaster bandages, textiles or plants the same support everywhere.

Working with the mesh

Cut the mesh to the size you need with side cutters and bend it into shape by hand. Bend protruding wire ends inwards or snip them off close to the knot, so that you do not injure yourself and nothing catches on them.
